Fishing Day Charters
Fishing in Phuket. There are a lot of good fishing around
Phuket. The most common daytrip fishing spots are the
Racha Islands, Racha Yai
and Racha Noi and the
Drop Off. Racha Yai is about 1 1/2 hour from Chalong Bay
where M/V Let's Go is departing from. Racha Noi is 2 hours
and the drop off is approximately 3 hours to the
destination.

Racha Yai Island
Located just 15 miles from Ao Chalong on Phuket’s east
coast, the blue water around the islands of Racha Yai and
Racha Noi is teeming with good bait fish, which attracts
schools of small Tuna and Sailfish. It’s a popular spot,
especially during the annual Phuket International Sport
fishing Classic Tournament, held every November, where
Fisherman from all over the world compete for "the big one."
Racha Noi Island
Giant Trevally – and shoals of them! In the right phase of
the moon they can seen crashing bait schools around a large
coral reef. One hooked, these fish are the toughest that
swim in the sea. Black Marlin and several other species can
also be found around the reef. An adrenaline pumping
experience!
