Anemone Reef
Located
less than a mile from Shark Point, this barely submerged reef
is famous for its vista of sea anemones clinging to every
available surface, swaying with the current creating the illusion
of a giant living rock.
Its actually a huge limestone stack that soars up
30 metres from the seabed to just under the surface.
A unique dive-site. The sea anemones and the nutrient-rich
water beckon enormous schools of snappers, groupers, and colorful
clown fish, along with larger game-fish like tuna and barracuda.
